On the morning of New Year's Eve, I sat in my massage room, (transformed from the formal dining room). I sat below my shelves of oils, in my regular meditative posture. The evening before I watched Tamara Jean, on HighVibe.tv, who always does a weekly video on what to expect for the upcoming week astrologically and energetically speaking. She then goes into any angelic messages, as well as what essential oils may help you through the changes or challenges for the next few days. I've only recently been watching her videos, however she has beautiful energy, good insights, and I really appreciate her knowledge of the different essential oils. I often resonate with the oil(s) she pulls for the week and I'm delighted I found her work. That evening she had 3 different oils (a person was to preselect which group of 1-3 they resonated with before hand). I resonated with 2 of the groups, #3 being stronger and #1 less so. For #3 she pulled Roman Chamomile, which she mentioned is superb in bringing clarity to your divine purpose. For #1 she pulled Myrrh which I believe she mentioned is great for bringing in feminine energy into your field. I knew I had both of those oils, but as I sat down to meditate the next morning, I couldn't find them. I always had Myrrh around, and I was certain I had Roman Chamomile too at one point, however I must have given it to someone. "That's ok" I thought, I have plenty of other oils on my shelves, and I've gotten really good at just closing in and being drawn to a specific oil needed for the day, as opposed to always muscle testing and getting confirmation from my pendulum. Copaiba drew me in. I knew this earthy resin smell was similar to Myrrh, and maybe contained similar properties. Most of all, I knew this oil would suffice for me for the day, (although I was most certainly going to place an order for the other two treasured oils I didn't appear to currently own). From other means, I knew I needed work on my 3rd Chakra, and as this seemed to be a week of aligning with your new path for 2021 and forward, I thought this Copaiba would do best in my Solar Plexus area. In this area, I rubbed the oil on my upper abdomen and behind on my middle back. Come to think of it, I believe when I stared at my shelves, I set an intention of what oil would really help open up my Solar Plexus more. As I sat down on the floor, I immediately felt around my diaphragm area and bronchioles opening up. I felt like breath was moving into my lungs more easily than it had in a long time. The abundance of air and oxygen felt good. This was a very physical feeling, more than subtle energies, which is what I usually feel from aromatherapy. The increase in air flow was quite prominent and I knew it was more than what could be just my imagination. I told myself I would read my most informative oil book to get an explanation or confirmation after my meditation. I can't say any bigger revelations came through in my personal quiet time, however I thoroughly enjoyed the smell of the resin oil and I was glad I had some personal one on one time with it. I've always regarded Copaiba as a powerful healing oil, especially with regards to pain in the body, and most specifically with muscle soreness. When I was finished, I climbed up off the floor, and went to my closet to grab the trusty manual "Gritman Guide to Essential Oils" by Margaret Shehad, M.A. LPC (which I will reference frequently in future blogs I'm sure). "Look at that, how perfect!" I thought; under Physical Actions and Uses it said "Opens breathing passages and allows deep breathing." I knew I felt the sensation, however it always feels good to get a confirmation, and this one was as accurate as it gets! When the confirmation seems to be so clear, like perfect alignment, (an almost too good to be true feeling), you can be sure in the truth of what you're feeling and that it's not an imagined sense. The oils really did interact with my body on a physical, and internal level. I finished with my morning meditation thanking the universe, giving real appreciation for granting such a wonderful gift, on what was the start of a regular day.
